I find myself questioning over and over what good does prayer do? It may be because our world is facing the actions of a person who is capable of such monstrous evil. This evening, I just came cross an article in America magazine that did not provide complete answers, but gave a way to understanding the need to pray and what prayer can do. The writing and thinking in America Magazine often filled with Aha moments for me - the Aha means a few things for me: I wish I had thought of that; Gosh, this is really good! I know people who will be helped by this (besides me).
This is such helpful writing on prayer and Ukraine. I hope that you find it as helpful as I did. Having a subscription to America is wonderful to have if you want to grow in your faith and find helpful ways to link your faith to your life. Even though it is a Jesuit publication, it is easy to understand!
